Several years ago I designed the Trick or Treat Doily as the gift pattern that came with the purchase of my Stella Luna Doily. It was not the design I had originally planned to create, but my first idea just didn't want to work out for me. After almost a week of frustration, I finally gave up on it and started a new design. The second doily seemed to flow easily, and Trick or Treat was born. You can read about how it came to be here:
The Doily That Got Away
The Doily That Got Away
But when the patterns were released, much to my surprise, Trick or Treat began to take on a life of its own, and was actually much more popular than Stella Luna. People began to ask if I would sell it as a single pattern, and it quickly became one of my best sellers.
Today, I am pleased to offer it to you as a free pattern.
I hope you will find it a 'treat' and not a 'trick' to create!
