How About a Contest?

I haven't had a contest in a while, since I have been trying to add a new free pattern every week or so. I have 3 new free patterns that I am working on right now and plan to release here on the blog in the next few weeks, but for today, how about a contest?
I will give one person their choice of any PDF pattern on my site, bellacrochet.com or  my Etsy shop bellacrochetEtsy
I will select the winner at random, and send out the patterns in the morning (Saturday.) I will post the name of the winner here, so be sure to check back in the morning to see if you won. If I do not hear back from the winner within 7 days, I will select a new winner. Failure to contact me within 7 days  will result in the forfeiture of all prizes.
Also, if you post anonymously, please be sure I have a way to identify you (at least give your first name or a nick name in your comment; I have no way of knowing who is posting.) You can also leave your email address with your comment so I can notify you if you win, but this is optional.
To enter, just leave a comment answering this question:
Did you make any crochet-related New Years resolutions?

This contest is now closed. Please stop by again soon!

I resolve to finish one WIP from past years every month this year. I'm not at all sure I can get it done, but hey, it's a start.

I resolved to crochet something for me at least once a month. I make so many things for charity and what I want always goes on the back burner.

Hi Ann, I have this terrible habit of looking for just the right pattern, or looking for a certain pattern, that when I do I make a real mess by leaving all the notebooks out and scattered on the floor or chair. I also have a terrible time putting the patterns up when I get finished with them so they remain in a pile. I may put them up once every 2 or 3 months..so my goal this year is to be a responsible adult and put things back where they belong...I will let you know how that is going.. Have a great weekend.

Yes, to crochet items for myself and not give it all away! Lol I'm just way too generous.

I want to make some more hairpin lace doilies.

Sue said...

Yes, indeed. To not give up on the doily that's been flummoxing me and also to finish the shawl I've started as a cousin's wedding gift (and not cave in and buy her something instead). Since I've got all the reasons in the world to distract me, I need all the resolution I can get.

I resolve to only have one project going at one time so far so good. I have finished one infinity scarf for a very very good friend and now am working on one for myself which will soon be done.

Not really, but I do hope to get in as much crocheting (if not more!) in 2015 as I did in 2014. :)

I hope to work a little more and get things done, so I am not rushing for Christmas.

I am also going to start working on my to do list of doilies.

I will not purchase any more yarn or thread until I have depleted some of my closet full of stash! Already broke it, needed some yarn for a baby hat and didn't have the right gauge yarn! Lol

No I didn't never keep them so why do it. But I really need to finish up a lot of stuff I started. Lol I am looking for a pattern to do something special for my sister. She did something really great for me so need something to show her how much I care. Well I am off to find it. Love your patterns.

I've promised not to collect anore patterns until I've made many of the ones that I have and get rid of the rest of them. I've been making a lot of things for others this month because even though I like the patterns, they're just not my style. I do want to crochet socks with fine lace weight yarn too.
