Friday Contest

Happy Friday, everyone! Are you ready for Christmas? I still have lots to do, but let's take time to have a contest!
I will give one person their choice of any pdf pattern on my site, bellacrochet.com. I will select the winner at random, and send out the pattern in the morning (Saturday.) I will post the name of the winner here, so be sure to check back in the morning to see if you won.

Also, if you post anonymously, please be sure I have a way to identify you (at least give your first name or a nick name in your comment; I have no way of knowing who is posting.)

To enter, just leave a comment answering this question:

Are you crocheting any gifts this year, and if so, have you finished them?

This contest is now closed.
Please check back next Friday for my weekly contest.

I am crocheting some gifts this year and I am far from being done...haha. Every year I wait until the last minute and crochet my butt off the last few days before Christmas but I always get the job done :)

Crocheting some ruffle scarves, possibly an octopus and some ornaments. Have two scarves done, rest will require scrambling once the semester is over on Wednesday.

I have one more gift to make. My 3 year old niece has asked for a little purse like the one I made for her older sister last year. It is just a matter of sitting down and finishing it up.

Yes of course there are crocheted gifts this year. It would not be Christmas without something homemade.
A couple of blankets, some hats and finger-less gloves and scarfs too.

For my little nephew I'm crocheing a pairs game/ memory card game / concentration. I'm using 100% cotton wool for booth, basic squares and applications. I'll crochet a "Amineko" for my second nephew, too :o). Hope, that they'll have fun with their presents :).
Greetings from Germany!

Xmas kind of snuck up on me this year. I have made two items so far, a fox scarf for my sister and a teapot cozy. Still hoping to punch out a few clothespin angels, there's still time right!

I have a number of pieces in the works...a filet crochet Mary, Joseph & Baby Jesus wall hanging, a plaid afghan & slippers galore! The only thing that may not get finished is the wall hanging but it's for a sister & she will understand! (It's HUGE!!!)

Yes, I'm crocheting a sweater for my aunt which I am still working on. I have the more complicated (pineapple pattern) part done, just need to finish up the bottom with shell stitch.
I'm also making a lot of presents for other people (I sell scarves on etsy.com) So I am finishing up orders as they come in... currently finishing an alligator scarf, poinsietta scarf and a ladybug / flower scarf.

I crocheted one doily gift. Was planning a couple more; however, life got in the way. Hopefully next year will be a bit more settled.

I had every intention but after Hurricane Sandy took several weeks of time from me it does not seem like I will finish in time. But will be ready early for next year.
