Easter Butterflies

Last Sunday, members of Nancy Y's church got a special welcome as they arrived for  Easter service. Nancy has been busy crocheting colorful butterflies to decorate the entry of the church.
She then stiffened them, and a friend's husband attached fishing line to hang them from the ceiling.
They look so delicate and lacy, floating gently in the breeze!

Nancy plans to make even more butterflies to decorate the sanctuary for next Easter.
What a lovely way to share your talent, Nancy! I am sure your congregation appreciates all your hard work!

I am so honored to have you feature my story and the butterflies on your blog, Ann. My friend had envisioned the butterflies for Easter for so many years, but was unable to find someone to make them. So glad I could bring her vision to life. It was a wonderful surprise for our congregation. Thanks for being my crochet friend. - Nancy Y.
