Win It Before You Can Buy It: A Contest!

I have been working very hard to get my newest doily set, "Dainty Little Doilies" finished up. It is a set of 13 different mini-doilies, none of them more than 6" across. They have been a lot of fun to design, but I have been ready to have them finished for a while now.
Happily, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, and the pattern should be available for purchase on my site very soon.
But, in the meantime, let's have a contest!
I will give one person a copy of the "Dainty Little Doilies" pattern, plus their choice of any other PDF pattern on my site, bellacrochet.com.
This contest will run from today (June 17th) until next Friday, June 21. I will select the winner at random, and send out the patterns on Friday morning. I will post the name of the winner here, so be sure to check back to see if you won.
Also, if you post anonymously, please be sure I have a way to identify you (at least give your first name or a nick name in your comment; I have no way of knowing who is posting.)

To enter, just leave a comment answering this question:
Do you have any special plans for this summer (a trip, a special project, a reunion, etc?)

This contest is now closed.
Please check back next Friday for my weekly contest.

  3. The only plans here for the summer is to finish getting settled into the new home we bought in Nov. Still trying to unpack and sort through tons of boxes. When not unpacking taking time to use up the yarn I inherited from my mom to make up new projects :)

  7. Actually, my daughter and her family were just here from Germany. Her husband is in the Air Force and was stationed there and they were on their way to Washington. They were here for a month. My husband is due to have surgery soon and will be laid up for about 6 weeks so I will be clipping coupons and doing what I can to save money while he's off....So we won't be going anywhere this summer but hope to do a tip to Washington for Christmas!

  17. My special plans have changed this summer. My daughter (5 years old) was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes on Memorial Day. I am learning everything I can to help her stay strong and healthy. I've already learned so much, from her insulin to foods and how they interact. So my special plans for this summer are to learn to help my daughter and to make her summer the best ever. To value each day God has blessed us with. :)

  48. Just started a new job so we are not planning any long trips. We are thinking a few weekend day trips will be in the schedule for this summer. We also want to go to the state fair since we haven't gone in a couple of years. And there are some new sights around the area that we can visit on the weekends that are not to far away so that is more then likely what we will do this year and save up for a big trip next year.

  55. Hi this is Arlette from Tying Knots. I do so wish I had summer plans to share with you but not so. It will be a summer of parental care and playing with my needles and threads. Cross your fingers that we have a mild hurricane season and I don't have to evacuate with two elderly parents who both have different sets of medical problems. Other than that I plan to stay cool and ply my needles.

  74. This summer, since we are moving, I'm pretty much giving away probably 2 rooms of yarn, thread, hooks, needles, thousands of my pattern books ---- new house just does NOT have the room for all I have accumulated! And, as I'm sorting it I am deciding what goes with me and what stays but, heartbreaking to give up a life time of hobbies. Will still be crocheting, knitting but won't be able to shop for the yarns in my own home any more! And, believe me, this has and is taking me ALL SUMMER!!!!
