I have been working very hard to get my newest doily set, "Dainty Little Doilies" finished up. It is a set of 13 different mini-doilies, none of them more than 6" across. They have been a lot of fun to design, but I have been ready to have them finished for a while now.
Happily, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, and the pattern should be available for purchase on my site very soon.
But, in the meantime, let's have a contest!
I will give one person a copy of the "Dainty Little Doilies" pattern, plus their choice of any other PDF pattern on my site, bellacrochet.com.
This contest will run from today (June 17th) until next Friday, June 21. I will select the winner at random, and send out the patterns on Friday morning. I will post the name of the winner here, so be sure to check back to see if you won.
Also, if you post anonymously, please be sure I have a way to identify you (at least give your first name or a nick name in your comment; I have no way of knowing who is posting.)
To enter, just leave a comment answering this question:
Do you have any special plans for this summer (a trip, a special project, a reunion, etc?)
This contest is now closed.
Please check back next Friday for my weekly contest.
hoping to take the family camping
ReplyDeleteCudowne!!!!Serdecznie pozdrawiam
ReplyDeleteThe only plans here for the summer is to finish getting settled into the new home we bought in Nov. Still trying to unpack and sort through tons of boxes. When not unpacking taking time to use up the yarn I inherited from my mom to make up new projects :)
ReplyDeleteNo plans here. Maybe a day trip here or there, but not even sure about that. Thanks for the chance to win! :)
ReplyDeleteAll the beautiful crochet works. I want to win them. I plan to go to some parks in holiday to ride some carussels and I want to crochet a flower blanket (each flower with 3 colours) and I still want to loose some weight.

Already took a vacation to Tucson, AZ. Now planning for when our son returns from his deployment!

Actually, my daughter and her family were just here from Germany. Her husband is in the Air Force and was stationed there and they were on their way to Washington. They were here for a month. My husband is due to have surgery soon and will be laid up for about 6 weeks so I will be clipping coupons and doing what I can to save money while he's off....So we won't be going anywhere this summer but hope to do a tip to Washington for Christmas!

My special plans have changed this summer. My daughter (5 years old) was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes on Memorial Day. I am learning everything I can to help her stay strong and healthy. I've already learned so much, from her insulin to foods and how they interact. So my special plans for this summer are to learn to help my daughter and to make her summer the best ever. To value each day God has blessed us with. :)
ReplyDeleteI am working this summer but on my days off I will be crocheting to relax finishing up a few projects that I have promised to make for friends and family.

I've been on enough trips already this year to make up for several summers. Drove to IL and back with 2 grandkids, then a week in Birmingham when my grandson was in the hospital, next a trip to CO to see my cousins. While in CO, my Dad died, so flew back to IL for the funeral. I'm ready to sit and crochet the rest of the summer away! Can't wait to see your beautiful new patterns!
ReplyDeleteJust to finish cleaning out my storage. don't have time for a trip wish I could. with love Janice
ReplyDeleteNo plans for the summer ...as my husband is passing away...while with him I am crocheting bears for charity...837 so far....crocheting is my solace....all of your patterns are wonderful...
ReplyDeleteJust started a new job so we are not planning any long trips. We are thinking a few weekend day trips will be in the schedule for this summer. We also want to go to the state fair since we haven't gone in a couple of years. And there are some new sights around the area that we can visit on the weekends that are not to far away so that is more then likely what we will do this year and save up for a big trip next year.
ReplyDeleteHoping the weather gets better up here, then we be chilling. Summer is my favorite season, the heat, the long sunny days, BBQ and the smells!
ReplyDeleteI would love to have a family reunion this summer however, it would take a massive organisation to do so and may not be until next summer.
ReplyDeleteJoanne
No, I will be crocheting doilies which I enjoy doing.

ReplyDeleteHi this is Arlette from Tying Knots. I do so wish I had summer plans to share with you but not so. It will be a summer of parental care and playing with my needles and threads. Cross your fingers that we have a mild hurricane season and I don't have to evacuate with two elderly parents who both have different sets of medical problems. Other than that I plan to stay cool and ply my needles.
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping to get my sweet little niece, Kimmy for a few weeks this summer. I plan on spoiling her along with my 5 month old and 2 weeks old grandsons.
ReplyDeleteWe are leaving SC for Gatlinburg, Tenn. tomorrow for a well deserved vacation. I love all of your designs and would love to win these.

ReplyDeleteWe are headed to the beach on Friday! It's been a few years since we've been and the kids are really looking forward to it. I will be taking some yarn with me of course! Sadly though I will be working on a sympathy shawl for a friend at church. Her husband passed away this past year and now her son passed away this weekend. My heart is breaking for her. She has always admired my crochet work and I am hoping that I can bring a smile to her face with a beautiful shawl.

Just memories that will hopefully last us both for the rest of our lives!

I am going to Boston for The Compassionate Friends conference...
ReplyDeleteThis summer, since we are moving, I'm pretty much giving away probably 2 rooms of yarn, thread, hooks, needles, thousands of my pattern books ---- new house just does NOT have the room for all I have accumulated! And, as I'm sorting it I am deciding what goes with me and what stays but, heartbreaking to give up a life time of hobbies. Will still be crocheting, knitting but won't be able to shop for the yarns in my own home any more! And, believe me, this has and is taking me ALL SUMMER!!!!
ReplyDeleteLynn/MI
I will be crocheting baby blankets as it seems that everyone I know is having a baby! Is it something in the water?
ReplyDeletePlanning a trip back home with my new Grandson so he can finally meet his Great Grandparents!

ReplyDeleteThis summer, I'm keeping busy by crocheting gifts for family and friends. I'm waiting to see medical specialists and crocheting is the perfect way to keep my hands and mind occupied. Also, when I journey to see the specialists I'll have something to do during the interminable hours of travel! :-) Have a wonderful summer!
ReplyDeleteWith the usual summer heat in Louisiana, I hope to get my crochet "mojo" back and do a lot of thread crocheting. A bedspread started year before last just has 3-1/2 rounds of border left, and an oval tablecloth started last year just has a last set of pineapples and it will be finished. come on, mojo!!
ReplyDeleteBella, the new 6" doll doily is so pretty as ate the others. I am on facebook: GeorgiaAnn Fruen Aeverman, email georgiaart@sbcglobal.net Thanks for considering me. :)
ReplyDeleteKids from the UK are coming over. Will be going up north to show them an American dream vacation. Planning on the Empire State, the ferry, the Statue of Liberty etc. Also got tickets to the new World Trade Ctr site, and hoping also to have an incredible meal in Chinatown. From there I plan to stop off in Orlando for a few days. My friend will drive down with me from there, on the way home. Hopefully, it will be a wondrous vacation and fun too.
ReplyDeleteI am just going to sit on my porch at the camper and crochet the summer away:)
ReplyDeleteI'm planning on doing a week of art camp with each of my grandchildren and great grandchildren who live close to us. Each will spend a week with us, and we'll do a different craft/art each day.
