Harvest Moon Doily

I found out last week that if I wanted to get my "Harvest Moon Doily" in the Oct. issue of the Annie's Attic catalog, I only had a week to get it completly ready. Yikes! Since she has a Halloween theme, it was important to get her ready, or else she would have to wait until next year. Of course I will be adding her to my Etsy shop, but I really wanted to have her in the catalog.
Anyway, here she is. The little witch's name is Autumn, and her cat is Shadow. I had a lot of fun designing her, and I am very pleased with the way she turned out. I hope you all will like her!

  3. Thank you Carol! This week I will be making a matching doily, based on the stitch pattern in her skirt, which will be the free gift pattern to go with this doily, then I will list it in my Etsy shop.
Oh, Rosa, I tried babblefish to try to get a translation of what you said, but it was not much help! Does anyone know what Rosa said? I would love to know. But thank you so much, Rosa, for commenting!

  6. I can't wait for you to put this pattern in your shop. I adore Autumn and Halloween. This is going to be a challenge for me since my eyesight isn't that good, but worth every single second. Such a lovely pattern!

  8. Rozaluz, thank you for following my blog! Please feel free to stop by anytime.
Hookedonthread, I hope to have it available by next weekend; I want to design a special gift doily to go with it. I can't wait to see what you do with it, you are such a gifted crocheter!
I love Autumn and Halloween, too, Cher, which I think was why I enjoyed making this doily. By the way, she gets her name from my 4 year old granddaughter, Autumn. And I hear you about the eyesight; I work by a big window with lots of natural sunlight, that (and my bi-focals) seem to help!
Thank you Brenda! I am glad you like her (notice I keep calling the doily "her", I guess I am talking about the little witch!)

Thank you Ana Luisa! I also had a cat named Shadow, and he was dk.gray, I guess that must be a popular name.

  15. Hi, I just started your beautiful harvest moon doily. I started with the gold moon. On the last row for each pineapple, you put a ch3 between the two shells, I think there shouldn't be a ch3 by the picture.
I can hardly wait to see your Christmas Angel wreath. You are so creative.

  16. Thank you for letting me know, Cathy! You are correct, there should not be a ch-3 between the first 2 shells. I will let everyone know; thanks again for your help!
