I have written before about how the members of the Threadies Facebook group inspire me. But of all the gorgeous items posted in the group, I would have to say that those created by Elizabeth Sabo are my favorite. She has created some of the most beautiful doilies I have ever seen and her use of color is amazing.
A while back she modified one of my designs to create a bookmark. The result was so lovely that I felt I had to make my own version of her creation. Here is the finished result, inspired by and named for Elizabeth Sabo, the "Elizabeth's Pineapple Bookmark." I hope you will enjoy it!

ReplyDeleteAnn, I only just saw that Threadies has been archived and I'm so sorry things went that way! I was off FB for the longest, but I hope you're able to revive Threadies or something. I loved that group, learnt a great deal from all of you. And even if you don't bring it back, thank you for creating such a lovely learning space for me. I joined as a noob and you ladies were a wonderful source of inspiration and support.
