  1. Thank you for this absolutely gorgeous doily, Ann! It is one of my all-time favorites. The design is stunning, yet the pattern is very "do-able" and easy to follow, as are all your patterns. Love it!!

  3. Thank you so much for this easy pattern...it took me 6 hours to make the doily, still the small roses to make. I was wondering why do we have to make a large rose "center"? I don;t understand the purpose. Is it to glue underneath the large rose so that it stays flat?

Thank you for specifying this to me...I'm a beginner!

  4. Dominique, the center for the large rose is just to make it look more like the small roses. It is not necessary if you do not want to make it. You are doing great for a beginner!!!!

  5. Ik heb dit patroon nog in een haakboekje van 1973? In het Nederlands
ik denk dat daar geen copyricht meer op staat. Kan ik dat ook delen?

  7. I just finished making this, Ann, and it's come out really pretty! I made it in lavender, cream and a dull olive green for my mother's best friend's sixtieth birthday. Thank you for this beautiful pattern. It was really easy to follow. I'm off Facebook at the moment, but when I'm back I'll share this on Threadies.

    Best,
