I'm a little Tea Pot, short and stout.(And I'm a little Tea Cup)
Here is my Handle, Here is my Spout.
When I get all steamed up, hear me shout:
"Just tip me over and pour me out!"

I have been working on a new pattern set this week (well, part of it is new, part of it is a re-worked version of some designs I did several years ago.) In addition to this "Tea Pot and Cup Wall Art" design, there will also be Tea Pot and Tea Cup Potpourri holders. I wanted to work on something besides doilies for a change, but now I can't wait to get this set done so I can get back to work on the "Angel of Love" doily!
This so so-ooo CUTE! You did a beautiful job on these, and I love how you did the coffee with twirled ribbon like this! LOVE it! ~tina
ReplyDeleteThank you, Tina! I will post pictures of the potpouri holders as soon as I get them finished. The spout for the Tea Pot is giving me fits; I have made 5 so far!
ReplyDeleteYour teapot and cup are just awesome! I have a collection of teapots that numbers over 200! I'll be looking for this pattern when you're done.
ReplyDeleteI love how you used the ribbon to look like tea pouring out. Gorgeous as usual Ann!

ReplyDeleteThank you, Crochethuahua! I saw a real tea pot and cup displayed like this years ago in an antique store, so I guess I "borrowed" the idea!
Thank you, Ana Luisa!
It has been a lot of fun to work on, Gloria. The details are what I love the most, but I always worry I will add too many!
Thank you, Sidney!

ReplyDeleteI am probably going to hang mine in my studio, Anne. The colors don't go with my kitchen:{ But in my studio, I like to use lots of bright and cheerful colors.
