I found out last week that if I wanted to get my "Harvest Moon Doily" in the Oct. issue of the Annie's Attic catalog, I only had a week to get it completly ready. Yikes! Since she has a Halloween theme, it was important to get her ready, or else she would have to wait until next year. Of course I will be adding her to my Etsy shop, but I really wanted to have her in the catalog.
Anyway, here she is. The little witch's name is Autumn, and her cat is Shadow. I had a lot of fun designing her, and I am very pleased with the way she turned out. I hope you all will like her!
So creative, I love it!
ReplyDeleteThank you Barb!
ReplyDeleteOh, I just love it! I want to make one. :)
ReplyDeleteOi Amiga!-------------que toalhinha mais linda
ReplyDelete--gostava de seguir seu blog mas não tenho a sua autorização para o fazer, caso que queira diga algo, um beijinho de Rosa Gonçalves
Thank you Carol! This week I will be making a matching doily, based on the stitch pattern in her skirt, which will be the free gift pattern to go with this doily, then I will list it in my Etsy shop.
ReplyDeleteOh, Rosa, I tried babblefish to try to get a translation of what you said, but it was not much help! Does anyone know what Rosa said? I would love to know. But thank you so much, Rosa, for commenting!
Oi, achei seu blog por acaso e fiquei encantada com seus trabalhos.

Beijos.
I want that pattern. I will keep checking your shop to see. It is fantastic! Like all your other patterns. You are my hero Ann.

I can't wait for you to put this pattern in your shop. I adore Autumn and Halloween. This is going to be a challenge for me since my eyesight isn't that good, but worth every single second. Such a lovely pattern!
ReplyDeleteAnn, I love this one. I wanna make one too.
ReplyDeleteRozaluz, thank you for following my blog! Please feel free to stop by anytime.
ReplyDeleteHookedonthread, I hope to have it available by next weekend; I want to design a special gift doily to go with it. I can't wait to see what you do with it, you are such a gifted crocheter!
I love Autumn and Halloween, too, Cher, which I think was why I enjoyed making this doily. By the way, she gets her name from my 4 year old granddaughter, Autumn. And I hear you about the eyesight; I work by a big window with lots of natural sunlight, that (and my bi-focals) seem to help!
Thank you Brenda! I am glad you like her (notice I keep calling the doily "her", I guess I am talking about the little witch!)
Wish I could order it now.
ReplyDeleteGreat design
just wanted to say that the doily is so pretty! (I had a cat named Shadow, but she was a black-tortiseshell).
ReplyDeletewell done on the designs!
You are so talented! The doily is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteThank you Mishap, I will get it in the shop as quick as I can!
ReplyDeleteThank you Ana Luisa! I also had a cat named Shadow, and he was dk.gray, I guess that must be a popular name.
Thanks Crochethuahua, I am so glad you like it!
Oh Ann that is so cute!!! Just perfect for the coming fall.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jewell! I am glad you like it.
ReplyDeleteHi, I just started your beautiful harvest moon doily. I started with the gold moon. On the last row for each pineapple, you put a ch3 between the two shells, I think there shouldn't be a ch3 by the picture.
ReplyDeleteI can hardly wait to see your Christmas Angel wreath. You are so creative.
Cathy
Thank you for letting me know, Cathy! You are correct, there should not be a ch-3 between the first 2 shells. I will let everyone know; thanks again for your help!
